Hello, my name is Leila. I will be teaching English in Japan for a year and in order to stay connected with my friends and family while I'm gone, I've decided to set up a blog chronicling all of my experiences; good, bad, and bizarre. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty nervous about moving to a country on the other side of the world where I don't know a single person and am unfamiliar with the language and culture. At the same time all of those things make me incredibly excited to just go and learn and live! I know it's not going to be easy, but I'm up for the challenge!
